Jella was a talented player, with her wide smile she was loved by all.

Jella came over from Gent in the summer of 2018. A chunk of energy, full of eagerness to go at it, to have fun and play soccer again. That’s how we knew her: the sunshine in the house, ahead of the game. She was an absolute asset on the field and in the locker room, someone you could not replace.

We still carry her with us every training session and match of the 1st women’s team. In our hearts, the initials on our shirts, the sheep and match shirt on the bench. We are grateful for the moments we had together and cherish them forever. She has been missed for a long time, but never forgotten.

With this international tournament, we want to pass on Jella’s soccer fun to the future talents within girls soccer.
